Installing MapSpeller™ 4.1

Recapitulating. My Situation:

I want to install 4.1 MapSpeller on a PC:

  • That doesn't contain a previous build of MapSpeller, and

  • Has ArcMap 10.1 or higher installed and in working order.

The Solution

  1. Save the MapSpeller 4.1 installation package to a location that is accessible to all PCs and all people who will be running MapSpeller.

  2. Close ArcMap.

  3. Install MapSpeller by double-clicking on the setup.exe file from within the package you just downloaded.

  4. Start ArcMap.

  5. Display the MapSpeller toolbar.

  6. Request keycodes from the Licensing tab of the MapSpeller Options dialog.

  7. If payment is due, contact Edgetech. The 90-day trial is free.

  8. Within a couple of days, you will receive an email containing the keycodes from Edgetech.

Additional Users:

If other people will also need to use MapSpeller on this PC, they will need to register under their own logins.
