Edgetech is hiring a highly motivated and talented ArcObjects Developer to lead future developments of MapSpeller. This is an exceptional opportunity for an entrepreneurial software developer to prove himself/herself, gain valuable experience with all stages of software development, and to directly contribute to the success of an innovative product.

ArcObjects Developer

Skills Sought:

B.S. or higher degree; preferably in computer science, GIS or a related field
3+ years developing ArcGIS applications
ESRI ArcObjects (ArcGIS Desktop, Server), incl. ArcGIS extensions
VB6, .NET (VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET)
ArcGIS Server (web services)
RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.), ArcSDE
Ability to work independently and in a team is a must
Effective time management and organization skills
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Experience with software life cycle and globalization a plus

Working Time: Full time, part time, or contract work. Flexible schedule.

Work Location: Innsbrook (Glen Allen/Richmond, VA) with telecommuting possible on a part-time basis.

Salary range: $60,000 to $80,000, plus benefits (for full-time position)

Marketing Intern

Edgetech has an immediate opening for a marketing intern. This position is a great opportunity for a talented graphic designer to gain valuable experience with all stages of marketing campaigns.

Duties include:

Graphic design: flyers, exhibit booth graphics and web material
Developing Flash presentations
Help with Edgetech emailing & mailing campaigns
Administrative tasks including:
- Data entry (contact database)
- Generating MapSpeller keycodes
- Providing ArcGIS & MapSpeller quotes
- Helping with conference and training logistics

Skills:

Creative
Meticulous, detail oriented
Ability to work independently and in a team is a must
Effective time management and organization skills
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Graphic design and publishing experience with Adobe CreativeSuite (Flash, Illustrator, Acrobat)
Freehand, FrontPage and Visual Studio desirable
GPA: 3.4 or better

Working Time: Flexible

Work Location: Innsbrook (Glen Allen, VA)

Salary range: $10 to 14/hour, no benefit
