MapSpeller for ArcGIS: Using your Personal/User Dictionary

To use your personal dictionary (also called user dictionary), simply have the corresponding checkbox turned on in the MapSpeller Options dialog under its Speller Settings tab. The personal dictionary that can be used depends on the language dictionary selected in the combo box just above it.
When MapSpeller detects a potential spelling error, it will be displayed in its Potential Typos dialog. Right-clicking on the row containing the word will bring a context menu from which users can add the word in their personal dictionary.

MapSpeller automatically creates a personal dictionary in the user's Windows profile for each new user and for each new language used by that user. It is also possible to populate a personal dictionary outside of MapSpeller, but it should done with caution as it could corrupt that file.
