  • Adopted the following technical support policies:

    • Edgetech has implemented a maintenance program similar to that of ESRI with its ArcView, ArcEditor and ArcInfo software. The primary goals of this program is to make the latest software available to those users current with their maintenance and offer some technical support on the latest version of the software.
       

    • As ESRI's, the Edgetech maintenance program differentiates between primary and secondary licenses. For every ten licenses of MapSpeller owned by a customer, the first one is a primary and the remaining licenses are secondary licenses.
       

    • To keep the MapSpeller cost low, each primary license owner current with maintenance is entitled to a contact person who will be able contact Edgetech technical support by email for up to two incidents per year. Edgetech may at its option call the user instead of responding by email if this is expected to lend to better service and problem solving.
       

  • Is considering developing online end-user to end-user systems such as forums.

 1  Currently the software is only licensed to U.S. customers but it is expected to be available internationally in multiple languages in the future.
