Version 4.0

   Undoing Corrections

In the current MapSpeller version, there is no undo command that will easily undo a correction made by mistake from the Potential Errors dialog.

However,

  1. Users are given the opportunity to automatically save the current ArcMap project each time text on the layout page is proofed. This gives users a fall-back document (mxd) in case they want to restart the process from the point where they started spell checking.

  2. MapSpeller doesn't commit any of the edits performed on field values to their tables. Committing such changes is to be done by end users using standard ArcMap procedures.
  3. Users can bookmark potential errors so the errors or their corrections can be easily edited manually or through MapSpeller at a later time.
