Many ArcGIS® users have expressed an interest in Edgetech's development plans for the MapSpeller™ extension. To help them manage their resources and achieve error-free geodatabases and maps, Edgetech is sharing some of its preliminary development plans here. They are subject to change without notice.

MapSpeller 4.0

MapSpeller 4.0 will provide support for ArcGIS dynamic text. Watch for this new, enhanced version in March 2012.

Post-MapSpeller 4.0

Beyond the 4.0 release of MapSpeller, Edgetech plans on progressively adding:

  • Proofing of additional types of ArcGIS text, such as GIS metadata.
  • Shared locationaries
  • Multilanguage support (U.S. Patent No. 7,681,126)
  • ArcGIS Server Locationary™ services
