Purchasing the annual maintenance extends the life of the

(Non-ELA Purchases)
- Annual maintenance includes complementary
updates and up to two support emails per license for 12 months.
- Transferring a license from one computer
to another counts as a technical support incident.
- Annual maintenance for the first year is
included with the purchase of non-ELA licenses of MapSpeller for ArcGIS®.
- Although the non-ELA MapSpeller software will continue
working for four additional years without current maintenance on the
ArcMap and Windows platforms for which it was designed, Edgetech
highly recommends organizations keep their maintenance current to
benefit from technical support and updates. Organizations having
skipped maintenance and wanting to update will be able to do so at
the cumulative price of the skipped maintenance. So while skipping
maintenance may be necessary because of temporary budget
constraints, skipping it has no long term advantage and makes such
organizations lose the benefit of having used the latest version
all along.
Other Considerations
- Taxes are not included. Pricing is subject to change
without notice.
- The MapSpeller software is also available
on CD for an additional $20 charge per CD per mailing. The charge includes U.S. Postal
Service First Class mailing within the USA.
- The ArcMap™ MapSpeller extension
is compatible with both the Single
User and Concurrent User versions of ArcGIS for Desktop (formely ArcView, ArcEditor™ and
ArcInfo®).
- Although the MapSpeller software can be
downloaded online,
purchasing it online is not available.

- These prices don't apply to organizations,
such as some states, requiring Edgetech to pay a transaction fee to
an intermediary, for example the state purchasing
system/organization. Such fees and the cost of administrative
overhead to Edgetech will be added. Requests for quotes must
clearly stipulate that an intermediary will be used and which one.
- Enterprise License
Agreements (ELAs) are also available.
