Introduction to ArcView® GIS is the fast track to learning to use the ArcView 3.x GIS software. By providing a conceptual overview and hands-on experience using the software, this two-day course enables participants to quickly take advantage of ArcView's powerful display and analysis capabilities.

HANDS-ON TRAINER

The Edgetech ESRI-authorized instructor brings years of hands-on experience with ArcView and Workstation ArcInfo to the class. Furthermore he is also authorized to teach the ESRI Introduction to Avenue course. Avenue is ArcView 3.x's programming language.

RELEVANT TO YOU

Edgetech is experienced in a wide variety of GIS projects, from environmental remediation to business site selection, and can therefore customize the course to suit your needs. Because class sizes are small, it is possible to make it more relevant to your daily work.

THE BENEFITS

Using ESRI-developed materials, trainees will learn how to:

  • Create new GIS data by digitizing maps or editing tables

Trainees receive the training manual and a CD-ROM with the exercise data so they can continue practicing and learning on their own after the class. An ESRI Certificate of Completion is issued at the end of the session.
