Edgetech Customer Assurance Program


Edgetech America, Inc. is dedicated to answering your questions and resolving problems you may encounter with any of the software package contents or materials.  You can also contact Edgetech with questions regarding software registration, upgrades, or the status of your software order.  Ongoing technical support is not included, unless otherwise specified.  It may however be purchased on an annual basis or by incident.

Software and Data

Customers may return software and data products purchased from Edgetech America, Inc. within thirty (30) days for a refund of the license fee. 

To Return Products Not Downloaded from the Internet

Customers must first call Edgetech and obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Number and instructions on returning the product.  Shipment is at the customer's expense. 

The returned product must contain unopened, sealed media package(s), the disk(s), and all accompanying printed materials.  Edgetech will not refund the license fee if a sealed media package has been opened.

Products Downloaded from the Internet Are Non-Refundable

Limited Warranty

A limited warranty is provided for the (non-Internet) media on which software, data and documentation are provided.  If you have a problem with the distribution media or documentation, Edgetech will replace the materials free of charge during the specified warranty period (generally 60 days) in accordance with the terms of the warranty.  To receive replacement materials, call Edgetech to obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Number and instructions on returning the defective product.

If the distribution media or the documentation are damaged after the warranty expires, Edgetech will replace the distribution media or documentation, but will require a replacement fee.  Replacement fees for damaged materials are determined by the current list price of the materials.

It is recommended that customers send their defective or damaged items by insured mail.  Edgetech cannot be responsible for, and will not replace, items lost in transit.

CAUTION:  Edgetech does not replace software or related materials that are lost, stolen, or destroyed beyond recognition.  The damaged or defective materials, along with a copy of your receipt, must be received before Edgetech can replace any software or related materials.

Programming & Consulting

Programming and consulting services are non-refundable.

Training

Training space is limited and is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. We require a check, purchase order or credit card authorization and a completed registration form to reserve a space. We confirm ten (10) days prior to the scheduled starting date. Edgetech is not responsible for nonrefundable travel arrangement losses resulting from course scheduling changes or cancellations prior to class confirmation. Tuition includes a $100 processing fee per class. If a registered student cancels five (5) working days or less prior to the class starting date, or fails to appear for the class, the full tuition will be charged.
